Snap! I worked for the hire division on Arley Street and one of the reps drove a new Mondeo through a ford a couple of years ago, just after the TDCi engine had come out. The thing had to have new rods, pistons, valves and crank. I was never quite the same again ;D
Snap Snap! Worked in a Ford dealership in 1990s and had Granada Scorpio Cosworth come in with flood damage, conrods bent into a 'L' shape, guy who owned it was an insurance assesor, and got the damage covered thru his insurance, he had one of the conrods mounted on a wooden base and used it as a paperweight
