I just found your thread and wanted to share the 2103 my boyfriend and I just bought. We're in Los Angeles but our car is in Estonia (we bought it sight unseen). Even Americans love Ladas! Next summer we're going to road trip across Europe hitting as many car shows as we can along the way before shipping it back to the US. It's in good hands, and we've got a year to make it Resto before our trip. Where are these Retro Ride Gatherings you speak of? We're always up for a car gathering! It's the annual show organised by this very forum. It's usually in August. It has its own board here: retrorides.proboards.com/board/28/retro-rides-gathering-2013Obviously that link is for the 2013 show - you'll be wanting to come to the 2014 one I guess? |

 Spotted a considerable amount of Ladas on my latest trip to Latvia, including this...  I'm seriously considering a Niva at the moment, not sure it's the best tow car out there, but I'm sure I could justify it! |
