I've just returned from the Great Dorset Steam Fair. Whilst there I was informed that a friend of one of the younger members of our little group had rolled his car the previous day. Said friend is apparently a bit of an idiot behind the wheel despite his own delusional beliefs and two other minor shunts. Even his friends have told him on numerous occasions that he can't drive.
Sadly the victim this time was a very tidy looking very rust free early Mk 3 Capri! Car is of course a total write off. Of course it wasn't his fault, empty country road with a bend in it. Idiots like him shouldn't be allowed the responsibility of a nice old retro, they should be forced to drive little turd-boxes until they can learn a bit of respect for the road!
Rant over.

It's not good news to hear someone's rolled a car especially a nice mk3 capri, but just like good novas, in about 3 years we will be wondering where all the saxos went.

True, replace ""Saxo" with any other suitable plentiful little scrote-box.

We shouldn't be ranting at them we should be helping them improve and advance there skills and raise there awareness.
Sorry replacing said Capri with curse word box isn't the answer after all they are just bits of metal its much better to try educate the idiot behind the wheel helping them and there friends live a little longer.
Dead car or dead person? I know which I rather hear about!

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!

Or we could just be happy he survived and really hope he learns from it and doesn't risk his or anyone else's well being again?
Things happen in life that makes you realise as much as we love cars they are not as precious as people

And 20 years ago a Capri was just another mass-produced disposable heap of sh**e, in 10 years' time people will be coveting Saxos and 106s in the same way some people worship at the altar of the Blue Oval now. Plus ca change, etc etc..... The important thing is your mate's still alive to tell the tale.

He probably would have done the same in the Saxo if he's a curse word driver, the Saxo suffers from terrible lift-off oversteer despite its FWD configuration. Teach and have taught rather than judge and have lost.
