Oh good, another one of my 100odd photos and no words to explain anything threads. Actually, it's not yet as I'm hiding in the pub and posting from my phone is a bit of a faff. More to follow. You lucky people.

The guy who owns it used to work at Mech-Spray with Ray Mumford and he also has the Badger airbrushes Roller which was also painted by Ray and a re-creation of Bullitt, which he persuaded Ray to do for him ;D

I had a brilliant day there today, After a slow start the exhibitors started to pile in their droves and i think it may have been the biggest turn out yet, I'm still working through my 100's of photos but I'll just leave this VW based Land Rover here for now.

But just to put the record straight, Ian Budd who owns 'French Connection', 'Temple Island' Rolls Royce and 'Bullitt' copy did not work at mech spray. I met him after my days with them. He started prepping cars for me, including the original 'Bullitt'. He then went on to work in Fords experimental dept., including in USA. Since then he has had his own body shop and we have collaborated on a few vehicles. We brought the 'Temple Island' Rolls back from the States. The 'Bullitt' copy was designed and laid out by me, but he did all the painting. I re-did 'French Connection' in about 1980 after a trip to Paris as I wanted the artwork to be more accurate, plus I knew I could do it better than before. Ray
