next time find me apparently this is seen as an effective threat?  ;D Could have done with you for the idiot on the sunday who thought it was ok to grass track his beige Mk2 Escort onto his club stand behind us while people were walking around. The disgusted looks from those around him said it all.  I saw that. What a huge bell end that guy is! Time and a place and all that... Ross |

What a complete *rude word* the owner of that dog must be  I feel so sorry for the dog, what kind of life can it have if the owner thinks its ok to leave it in a car? RSPCA should have taken it IMO |

Firstly I'm glad to hear the dog was ok and glad they booted the guy out the show for his sins...
second I was told to look at this thread by a friend as he said I am being slated...
I am the guy that has the doggy mk2 4door...
As for wheel spinning the car onto to MY club stand if I upset you in any way I couldn't give a curse word and as for people giving me dirty looks or shouting at me for doing so I didn't see or hear any of it and I was on the stand all morning and at the show till late Nobody had the balls to come say anything at the time so stop being F**king keyboard hero's slagging others off for having a bit of fun.....
There was plenty of others as we where packing up driving there cars in and out of people wheel spinning and handbrake turning on the grass don't see any threads moaning about these lot...
END OF!!!

At least you owned up and havent made excuses that your foot slipped off the pedal and you struggled to control the massive Bhp of the duritec sitting under the bonnet !!!!!
It's quite funny that your mentioned in a dog thread as you would probably have just smashed the window and got the dog out the car whether the owner was there or not ......... mainly cos your a big softie at heart you just get carried away when behind the wheel of the very expensive toy you built.

I'm sure hes not the first to spin his wheels on some grass and i know he wont be the last..(i did it at the ford show at battlesbridge this weekend!!).....no one was hurt so whats the bother eh guys?  ..... |

Skidding round on the grass is absolutely bang out of order, especially on a showground as tightly packed and busy with people as it was at prescott on sunday.
Obviously the place is owned by the Bugatti owners club and they are being pretty accommodating allowing us idiots on it, without arseholes churning the grass up any more than it needs to be.
He's not the first or the last but there's a time and a place and that was neither. Had it gone slightly wrong then the odds are that the show wouldn't be welcome back at Prescott which is an absolutely brilliant venue.

I take it he didnt have his optional cutting blades fitted his mates made him then ?
Most of the tracks he goes to ask him back as he spends more time on the grass then he does the track, saves them hours not having to cut it afterwards !!!

I was going to shout up but I cant....
This was in noway done to upset or curse word anybody off...
I came to the show last year and loved it...
The only thing thats upset me is thats your all calling me all sorts of things and even threatening to punch me. None of you know me or had the ball to come say something. If you had I would have said sorry to anybody I had upset (I don't like upsetting people)...
If you ban every body that did a little wheel spin hand brake turn drift so the show would be a very quite and boring show in my opinion...
But if this is the type of forum that bans people for wheel spinning but allows threats of violence on other member then its not a place I want to be part of...
I organise events as well and I always get people curse word around in there cars... theres not much you can do about it really... some even moan that they been told off by marshals
All I can do is say sorry but I wont be coming on here again as it will just upset me more...

Firstly I didn't see anyone else driving like that during my time at the show and secondly, with an attitude like you've just shown on here, is it any wonder nobody came over to speak to you about it if thats how you'd react. Theres a time and a place for hooning and 9:30am while a show is just opening and people are setting up is not the place. What you and others who drive like this fail to realise is that the venue owners are walking about and is they spot these sort of antics they may just say no when it comes to booking future events. Try not to spoil it for everyone please. |

Dude, if I had had my boy with me and been anywhere near I would have gone off my moobs at you but fortunately this wasn't the case. It's hypocritical of me in a way as a couple of years ago I'd have probably done the same thing. As I said earlier, there's a time and place and a show full of families isn't it. Don't take it to heart just remember for next year. After all if it was your club stand, you stand a chance of getting your club members a bad name. Go on track days, dwyb days or closed private roads for your fun. But do come back next year and enjoy the show element of the gathering for what it is  And sign on early for your runs up the hill to get your kicks Ross |
