I wish they had a clip selector for this program. Moments of interest are dispersed with utter bilge.
VBH thrashed a 1990 Daihatsu Charade around an off road track and Russ Swift shows the presenter how to handbrake turn a Volvo 240 GLT wagon into a parking space.
4/10 Must try harder.

I don't even bother watching it. That's got to be pretty bad when I can't be @rsed to watch one of the few motoring programs we get.

i watched it and was ashamed of the poorness. russ + reverse parking and volvo was lovely, VBH trying to destroy the charade was too in a sickening 'i know this car wont even THINK about busting but i just know you're going to run it down because its older than your last pair of shoes' kind of way...

I caught it this time. It COULD have been very good. The " rally " charade thing was great until she put gravy and vodka in the fuel tank at the end.... WHY childish and not at all funny.

Could be worse....at least it's not 'Vroom Vroom'...now that is lowest-common-denominator curse word.
I met VB-H once, I found her intelligent and switched-on, what she's doing presenting curse word like that I'll never know.
I only watch Top Gear to be honest, most of the cars are un-reachable supercar rubbish but at least it's funny and irreverent, and has the Godlike Genius that is James May on it.

It's terrible. I watched two minutes of the latest series. VBH comes across as dizzy and thick on screen (she never did in the Top Gear days!) and the new bloke is just a knob.
Brian - I'll join you in the James May Fan Club! Met the bloke at the NEC (Very briefly!) seemed just like he does on telly. Slightly confused and flustered but then he probably was wondering who this scruffy git in a 2CV T shirt was who wanted to shake his hand!

Didnt they do that parking thing allready last series? I seem to remember Russ swift teaching one of the presenters how to do that trick in a maroon mk3 fiesta.
Very poor when they re-make not very good reports.

I get forced to watch it by the other half who for some reason seems to think it's great. Don't see it myself but apparently it's because I'm a bird ;D

Last week was funny when VBH said "I get banged about enough on this show" by mistake.
I watched it last night and found it a little better than usual but still like going to a party that has no music or beer. The Charade feature was particularly half arsed with yet more patronising comments like "We've thrown everything at this little car" "This is the ultimate test" when all they did was mince around a gravel track for a day.
That guy from Max Power though "This is the best bit of a Ferrari, the wrinkle finish on the rocker covers." while stroking part of the plenum

Grim Grim Grim, cant even be bothered watching it... I would not waste electricity by giving it the time on my telly..
TopGear, that's something that people that are not "into" cars or your hardened petrol head would sit and watch religiously.....
5th Gear = Bad
Top Gear = THE best programme on the telly...

I must admit the only good bit of 5th Gear so far was VBH's gaff last week.....followed by the embarrassed silence, VBH crawling under the table and the film crew p*ssing themselves in the background......classic. Otherwise....please put this show out of our misery!

Don't watch it, but sounds like a waste of a good Charade to me considering a knackered one did 6000 miles in the Mongol rally recently without breaking down once!
