Hello! Droitwich Lloyd, that famous car enthusiast extrodinaire, and part-time playboy, has arrived! Currently I run a 216 cabby and a 1987 Sterling Mk1 but I've had most cars ever worth owning. Anyway, feel free to ask me any questions/advice/marital problems/sexual hang-ups ect...

Greetings! A pleasure to have you aboard. We briefly had a Sterling, a '96 825. Wasn't a bad car at all, started to loose coolant from somewhere mind, so we auctioned it off.....was on the 'trader recently! The 2.5 V6 was not the best V6 we've had though, I have to say the one in the Safrane was much more engaging. I've seen some photos of yours on the Austin-Rover site, lovely looking cars!

I have owned five MkI 827s in a row. It makes me laugh how people say they are curse word, but appear never to have owned one. I've done several hundred thousand miles in my lot and have had precisely ZERO problems or breakdowns.
They are a lot faster than a lot of people realize too.

I remember buying a pale green 120 for my then wife, back in the early nineties-I loved it, she HATED it! I rember the strange sensation of just moving the gear stick around untill I found a gear, any gear, and the fact that it refused to start in the damp!

Hello droity, I ran an 820 for a while and a 216 t-top. Not bad cars at all and the 8 series could become quite the thing if done right.
Welcome to a mind altering state.
