Hi everyone I'm Matthias, 21yo, living in Belgium and this is my retro ride. It's a Peugeot 309 xr from '90 with some adjustments. The engine is a 1.3 on a single carburator. Bought it a year ago, completly standard, from an older couple for a really nice price. Here are some photo's from over the last year. And this is how she sits for the moment Some spare parts from the coilover set to get it as low as it is A small list of modifications: *Raceland coilovers *Schmidt modern lines, 15*8 with 155/60/15 Kumho tires *Devil exhaust *Gti front bumper, Zender back bumper, Gti trimmings on the side *Windcatchers at the front windows *Racing steering wheel *Stickerbombed bootlid and interior pieces *Decent audio system *... I hope you like it

That is NICE.
309's are getting very scarce in the UK now, especially three-doors.
Useless Trivia dept: The 309 was originally designed by Talbot/Simca as a replacement for the ageing 'Horizon' model first introduced in 1978 and was going to be named the Arizona. Peugeot bought Talbot/Simca in 1985 when the model was very near to production and renamed it the 309.....although preceded by the 305, Peugeot decided to number the model out of step with their then-current model range to reflect it's Simca origin (otherwise it would have become a Peugeot 306....). The smaller-engined 309's continued to use the old Simca-designed OHV engines until 1992.
Eyethangew! [/anorak] ;D

Thnx everyone, I'm glad you all like it B) The exhaust is fixed now, so it doesn't hang down like on the pics. That is NICE. 309's are getting very scarce in the UK now, especially three-doors. I was really happy when I found this beauty for only €600. And thnx for the info, but it was a thing I allready knew
