That's parked outside Faro airport, I do believe. That'll be Portugal, then. (I do actually know this, 'cos I go there twice a year, but it's also written on the door)

WHAT THA MUTHA FUGG..... ? So let me get this straight... it's a car-boat thingy. With almost ZERO frontwise visibility. It being on a 'Y' means that either: (a) this monstrosity has somehow gained 'type approval' (b) It's actually a Fiesta in drag... If the answer is (b)... how the heck does that get past the VOSA Nazi's? And who would chop up a car that still has reasonable street value to make that? I think social services need to be informed....

Good spots, the car-boat thing is properly odd, you need to go back, talk to the owner and get him to join R-R

Cheers anthonyg! It's a pretty awesome looking truck. I did some Googling on that Dutton Commander... for those as in the dark about them as me: It's Suzuki Samurai-based and completely amphibious (it'd have to be, looking like that!). You can still buy the Commander S2, now with Suzuki Jimny mechanicals.... Only £30,000. Yowser!

I am a big fan of the Dutton Phaeton (well later ones anyway) and to a lesser extent the mellos. From a handling point of view at least as they are fantastic fun. But really they should have paid someone a few bob to come up with the designs for the cars as the all look totally shitt
