I have a proper car for the Gathering this year! Hooray!
This all started about a month ago when a dippy bint opened her car door as I was driving past!. The resultant damage managed to write off my E46 that I had been trying to sell forever!
The upshot was that in a fit of mad reasonableness, Kim agreed that a portion of the insurance money could be for me to have a fun car!
This lead me as some will know down many avenues of fun but kept on coming back to an old Gumtree post that was over a month old, so a plan was hatched!
A good friend of mine that I work with offered to take me to Shaw and when I got there, I was not disappointed!
She is in amazing condition with only a few blebs here and there - nothing for a 25 year old car! She also managed the blast back on the M62 and M1 to Nottingham with ease at a steady 70 -80 MPH and used less than a tenner in fuel! I am pretty sure that was the first time in years she has gone more than 40MPH!
Enough waffle and on with the pics! I will be getting better ones showing the remarkable condition in the next day or so!
Home at last:
Bizarrely from Bath/Bristol way!
The cockpit, it is spacious and airy with some awesome features to show you later on (I am tired).
Yes, that is right. It has 34K on the clock only!
Plans are to use a theme that is famous in Japan for Honda's of this age, especially the Osaka-JDM Garage!
I am hoping for a Kanjo influenced Shuttle! So a bit of this:
Is definitely on the cards! ;D
It will all be slow as with most people, money is tight and Summer is expensive.
Initially, she needs a radio that is not using U instead of FM and has an input for my ipod and some wheels. Tax will be the first purchase though!
Dugong is selling some wheels that would be awesome at the moment, but alas, the old lady I brought her off haggled like only a Lancastrian woman can and I can't afford the wheels and tax
However, the front of the car would have looked similar to this:
I would love some Streetfins as they would be simply awesome on this motor but are like hens teeth (Especially with the naff Yen to £ exchange rate).
Lows will then be on the horizon and following that will be a proper Kanjo style HUGE rear wing!
Thanks for reading and any thoughts would be welcomed!
