I have cherry bombs on my Tbird. Some people love them others don't. I am tempted to go for something more ordinary if I ever changed the manifolds and/or system.
They don't come across that loud on my car.

Bloody hell! That made me jump at 6 seconds in! It seems as though the Cherry Bomb has plenty of love still I may indulge in one for my Porsche as the back box is blowing (until I can justify a full stainless system)

had one of these: On this: And it sounded great. Really cheap and easily adapted to fit, I just cut off the backbox where the pipe entered and welded this straight on! I like this rounded lip version best. Sold it to our apprentice for his Max Power polo...

Where's the one that Rich had on the Cedric??? ended up. Keep meaning to show my dad some pics of where its ended up. Went on the Skoda pickup that Mr Carter bought, actually sounds rather lovely on a Dizzle! Still on it too to my knowledge Still proudly rocking its 'Bomb.

I've always thought of Cherry Bombs as being old-school hot-rod mufflers, from reading Hot Rod as a kid. For me, there's only one true 1980s muffler, which no Pro Street car would be complete without. The mighty Supertrapp, preferably the longest ones available, fitted in pairs and sticking out about 10cm from the rear bumper. there you go waveman, what they call cherry bombs, you should know them as "hot dogs" i had a hot dog on my 180B and with the cam i had in it, it would shoot out 1ft long blue flames, had to bit a little careful if i saw the police

I fitted one to my V8 ls400 and removed the other 4 OEM silencers, sounds good.

I've got some on my SBC..... not over the moon to be honest. They're not offensively loud but they don't give that V8 rumble. I'm going to swap them out for Porters - they sound deeper on V8's.

Got a pair on my 66 Pontiac with a 455 Olds motor and they are the dogs and they rumble. Only problem is when towing the caravan they resonate like hell but only bothers the missus lol
