Just look on eBay under classic cars! Normally plenty of Datsuns pop up for reasonable money unless it's a really sought after model! Toyotas seem to fetch a little more! As for J pickups, u will be hard pushed to find one over here for cheap money! Datsun 1200 pickup would be cool tho....

As said, older J-tin pickups in the UK were either: 1) used, abused and worked into the ground until they died, or 2) turned into gleaming customs and are therefore now worth lots and lots. I guess if you were dead set on getting a pick-up you could look into importing one from Australia or NZ, as they've always seemed more of a 'lifestyle' thing there and are probably better preserved.

You could buy a 4x4 pickup and convert it back to 4x2, there are more around and they are mostly the same under the skin.
I suspect a lot of the 90's ones would accept the front panels from the earlier versions, for a long time they had facelifts rather than redesigns.

Regarding the X30/X40 coupes, just to point out it is 'Corona Mark II' as in an alternative version of the Corona, not a Mk2 of a Corona in the sense of Mk1 Mk2 etc Ford Escort. It's like the Corolla Levin or Corolla Trueno badging - a Corona Mark II is often the name of the domestic model in Japan and Cressida is often the export model name. I had a GX61 Corona Mark II hardtop once and it was a good car.
