The car is currently running a carb (32/34 DTML) The car is and will be my daily - around 90 miles a day, so obv needs to be reliable and economical. I'd be more than happy with the 140bhp the KR gives out, I just wanted to do something outside the box of the normal 16v conversions...without spending £££'s If thats teh case and the car is not injection already then I would go for Bike Carbs. Its a lot of hassle retrofitting injection stuff to originally carbed cars, as a Daily, but something different then Bike carbs are easier to keep in tune and you`ll still get the noise from them but you wont have the huge thirst that a pair of webers will give ;D Carbs from an R1 will be plenty, and cheap too, will also probably run from a mechanical fuel pump as well No electronics to worry about and no additional or uprated fuel lines/tanks either Keep it simple

I know of a set of GSXR1100 carbs (40mm) for sale, I was offered them for the Locost. I can contact him and put you in touch if you want. The gixer carbs are better spaced for car applications than R1 or others aswell due to the wide engine.

How would I get these set up initially to get the car to run...or would they just work??
How much is a manifold going to cost me then?
What bike cc's am I looking at? 750 +...
