Well, not done an awful lot this weekend but then the torrential weather hasn't exactly helped but this photo is quite significant... The Herald finally has fully functional hazard lights! It's something I've been meaning to do for ages especialy considering the use it gets. I even made space for the hazard switch I removed from our old Dolly when I made up the gauge panel a couple of years back. I placed an order for some electical bits including the relay I'd need some time ago from Auto Electric Supplies (package landed on door mat 18 hours after on-line order placed!) I modified the Dolly switch so that it would light up as originally intended and do away with the need for a separate warning light. One rainy Sunday afternoon later, job done! Hurrah! Anyone else get anything done? Russell seems to have been beavering away....

I have done sod-all this weekend. Changed a wheel on the Humber yesterday, in the dark. Joy. Oh and I put my back out too, and am now in agony. That is all.

I've just got inside from getting my Mini running for the first time in about 4 months. The battery was totally dead and wont hold any charge what-so-ever, sorted that using on of those emergency starters connected. Turned the key about 5 times and it fired up for about 5 seconds so I narrowed it down to being a problem with the petrol, Ie. None So I filled it up and Vroooom ;D Running sweet. Just gotta decide what dashboard to put in now. Burr-Walnut or Charcoal.

Didn't you have some wide steels to go on your herald? I bent the bumper on the polo back into shape and gave the inner metal thing a coat of paint. Not done much else due to mock GCSEs next week Adam

pretty much bvgger all done here. I am waiting on about a half dozen people to come take stuff they were buying off me so I can get the space to sort the attic/spare room out so my parts are in some way organised so I can see what I've got, and provide the pennies so I can go actually do some jobs on the cars.

Didn't you have some wide steels to go on your herald? Yep, but can't afford to put decent/any tyres on them until we actually need to. I have started sorting out the Cosmics though. Mostly made a steel insert to replace a missing one on Friday but need a better boring tool to make the internal taper to suit the wheel nut. Then we'll have a choice of wheels to put tyres on ;D

Took the Dash apart on the kp to investigate the lack of anything from the radio, this has now turned into a two weekend job as suze revealed to me she has brought me the pioneer cd/mp3 player that i was looking at for xmas: So i'm now getting wiring ready to fit this and some better speakers. While i've got the dash out i'm going to order some LED bulbs to replace the ones in the instruments as you can barely see them when driving at night. So not too bad but i wish i could of finished one of the jobs! Simon

checked out the rattling on the alfa....
removed the whole under engine cover as it was held on with tie-wraps and god snot... hurt my finger and wanted to bum myself for being so gay.
after that... i then realised that it wasnt the under tray... or should i say not JUST the undertray..
whoever built this car after accident damage was a d!ck.

Sleepy weekend, put of doing Cortina when we saw that Halfrauds own oil is 21.99! So I'll go to my man round corner when Man U are not playing! Insted fitted some mudgurds to GF's bike, washed all the self propeled fleet, and hopefully (fingers crossed) fixed the leaks on the MR2 Well done all those who did stuff.
