I'm currently back into cleaning/smoothing engine bays... Trying to work out what I can move or remove from this : To clean it a bit,.. need to get the workshop manual out and give it a bit more thought. Fuel pump can be replaced with an electric one. Dizzy and coil can be replaced with mapped ignition, hide the coil pack down by the chassis rail. Battery in boot. Washer bottle under wing All pipes, wires and cables re routed to either run along chassis rails or behind inner wings. After that lot all you should see is an air cleaner, head and block and a master cylinder, which you could relocate under the dash if you wanted. Just to keep it on topic, heres mine.

Oooh Thats the sort of answer I like Moving the pipes around is the bit that I'm trying to work out,.. Wiring isn't too bad and battery in the boot is a definate job to do anyway.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Interesting hmmmmmm - define interesting Why would that be interesting - Cable ties are pretty much holding it all in - I threw it in and had it running after a marathon 27hr stint - It has 243 bhp replaced one with 167 bhp (the bhp doesn't have to work so hard as the interior is just as spartan ;D - been planning it for 4 years (engine swaps aren't just bosh it in) Oh and I love it - love it a lot

I know the pic is small but I think its a supercharged straight 6 jag engine in a Mk2 Granada My brother saw it at the ten of the best show this year and took a pic on his phone. Its a supercharged V8, based around the LS1 format, obviously with quite a few non standard parts Latest format images1.fotopic.net/?iid=yk1fcj&outx=640&quality=70

I'm curious, what is it? Those exhausts look 2smoke to me, triple as well, is it one of those 1970s Kawasaki engines? Or am I really missing something?
