There was a program on the audi channel about it.
The winch isnt a winch - its a big steel cable that runs through a mechanism on the underside of the car which grips when the car stops moving forward.
They also started off with the A6 with you're average kind of snow tyre, but soon realised they were screwed without studs

I was going to say, you wouldn't want to rely on the handbrake at the top would you?!

Noel Edmonds was involved in the launch of the Suzuki Whizzkid too. It's quite useful having a short person to make your cars look more roomy ;D
