	Had the day to myself at the farm so carried on with the rocket thing. Started screwing onto the chassis and spent hours shovelling the rotten feed into jumbo sacks to empty the silo part I need to make the rear from. Sold one car and part exd another in a car culling. Then on Sunday evening I bought my sons 02 plate mini. Was a no brainer as its all been refreshed since he's had it..... Plus he didn't want it now the mr2 is running good. Was cheap too 😎 not quite a retro car but it will be soon enough. Kinda miss having an older car as a runaround so this fills that gap

	So last week it all went wrong.... In a massive scale. When I tried adding the rear section it was too long. So I cut the centre out.... And then once in the trailer it just collapsed. I fell twice and was battered so had to walk away. Yesterday I draughtes in a work mate and asked what he thought. We both agreed that it was a lost cause and we needed a plan b. We took the end off another better silo and used that. Once the tractor had lowered the unit we the joined both sections with a strips from the new silo. I've deliberately left an opening underneath which, once it's all done and a door added, will become the battery box under the trailer. Added a pair of engine mounts at the front too, to stop the front moving about but with a bit of give for when it's moved around the farm

	Swapped out the silly aerial my son put on the "mine now" mini.gotta 2 footer on there now. Did the corroded bonnet badge too. Still need to sort the boot one

	Not 100% sure if I'm gonna put them on the granada.... But I've been thinking about it for a good while now so slapped a pair on the mini. Verdict? They just look tidier and look less cluttered than the arc metal type originals. May look at running the washer pipes along the arms too....... Its not like the granny is gonna win a concourse car award 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

	Back at the farm slicing my hands on old silo metal..... Got 2 lengths of angle so cut slits down them and bolted them the the sides. The it's was time to cut the door out. It's all tight so I threw an old tyre at it to knock the panel out. Made up the start of the tial fin frame too. Need to aquire some more cable tray before my next visit.......

	Decided to try and knock up some internal "spacey" panels up using junk I had laying around or have collected over the years ( some was for the rat rod) and have even used instant tea cartons. I'm still waiting for the bio hazard decals to arrive for the red lids. Any old junk that's donated will get reused..... Feel a trip up to the loft is in order, I know there's a bunch of old car parts hiding up there

	And yeah, there's a k11 tailgate in the room... 🙄 If anyone has any spare studding going for free in the North Kent area I'm very interested. Got a 500 budget to do everything😳 already spending my own cash to keep in budget so anything free is welcomed

	So after slicing my scalp I managed to do a thing. Started the tail fin and panelling out the interior. Was hammering it down so inside stuff was convenient

	Mr2 got some attention today. A midweek face bay purchase from a real nice guy in Kent meant we needed to get the tools out. My son also swapped the boot catch lever surround too after the old one was found to be damaged. It was blue but good old poundland paint saved the day again. Who doesn't love a leather interior....... Looks so much nicer against the centre console and dash

	Started on the next panels.. Decals continue to arrive and I tested the colours for the illuminated parts. Ordered 6 blue strips for the back lighting

	The planned car work was rained off yesterday so will try again tomorrow. The keyboards arrived so they were added and I finished the scrap metal butterfly too tho

	Had to do some repairs to the animal enclosures but managed to squeeze an hour on the rocket. Managed to almost cover the tail fin section too.
