To get an 037 you`d need to get a Lancia Montecarlo and make the odd adjustment here and there, perhaps a bit of paint...

Herbie got off with a montecarlo in "herbie goes to montecarlo". All sorts of dodgy implications as herbie was about 20 years old while the Lancia was brand new......

Only thing is I'm unsure of the 300bhp limit, as the triflow engine made over 700!
It owuld apprea that the turbochargers on the triflow engine were sequential, the flow to one being restricted at lower rpm making the other spool up earlier.

The tri flow engine has one exhaust and one inlet on each cam per cylinder, the exhaust flow from the left hand side of the engine is restricted by the valve seen after the turbo. This stops the flow and forces it through the other turbo, there is also a valve on the outlet of the left hand turbo to stop the flow bypassing the engine and flowing backward out of the non boosting turbo. I'm guessing that at a certain boost level the second turbo comes online and provides flow for the top end?
