I think this is a marmite car but I love them. My dad had a Gti when I was younger. Great car. Yours looks fantastic.

Love BX's it's a proper french car, all garlicky and weird. A mate of mine had a turbo diesel one as his first car, was huge fun and went surprisingly well for an old diesel. Although we used to drive it around all the time in the low parking suspension mode, which seemed to break it eventually the back got stuck in the air and the front was slammed Good times, gone bad!

This brings back memories of the one I was loaned from the works car pool in the mid 90's. My daily at the time was a 1300 Dolomite , and in comparison, the BX was a rocket ship My fave game was raising and lowering the suspension in traffic jams, which always raised a smile from the surrounding cars ;D

Yours was a gift just because I knew how much you wanted one - it's one of those period touches that really finishes a car. I love this car - it looks so cool now that they aren't a common sight on the roads anymore. They always did look a bit bonkers compared to the other manufacturers offerings of the period, but now that things have moved on they really do stand as a great testament to the automotive styling of the 80's. Where have the roof bars gone?

Stunning! A BX is the first car I ever drove. Love the styling and love how "perfect" yours looks. You've got it bang on right! And on the air freshner to think I threw a good few of them away

This ones a T-Dizzle dude Sounds like you jammed the height correctors.. I tend not to drive it in low, its so uncomfortable. I love the ride at normal though, its so so so much nicer than the ride of a metal-sprung car My fave game was raising and lowering the suspension in traffic jams, which always raised a smile from the surrounding cars ;D I've done it few times for the VW boys, they love it I do have some left but they are reserved for future projects. Cheers dude, you know that air 'freshener' made my day, even year when you donated it to me, and I've cherished it ever since Saying that about BX's being uncommon though, I saw a silver break (estate ) in traffic today, looked well tidy! Roofbars come and go. Its twofold really, one being that the cars a daily and fuel consumption is upset (only marginally admittedly) by having some 70's skis on the roof, and I don't want it to be 'that BX with the skis', I want to keep it fresh, if you know what I mean Stunning! A BX is the first car I ever drove. Love the styling and love how perfect yours looks. You've got it bang on right! And on the air freshner to think I threw a good few of them away Cheers dude. To be fair, its a daily so I don't want to spend much on mods on it, but there are a few things that certain cars need, know what I mean I wanted a 90's French vibe without going mad with it

the Corsa copycat hubcaps have gotta go, gotta be rolling on these badboys if it's a BX! I'd have those in a flash, literally quicker than you can say 'hi gloss lacquer finish with easy snap-on fit wheel trims', but finding citroen trims is a nightmare hence knock-off vauxhall trims. They look better than bare steels at the very least, it looks so wrong like that.

I reckon a set of Citroen 'Milan' trims off a C2/C3 would look the doodads! Hmm. I dunno. Photoshop time. They are indeed 14s though. getting hold of those trims would be easy but I don't know if they would suit more than the fakey vauxhall ones. It's a real shame these are 13"...a set of this style would look beyond awesome on the car! I know, AX trims seem almost easy to find up against BX ones
