Will look forward to seeing how you progress with this. I have the last of the line L300 vans same shape as this which I'm converting into a campervan. Might need to ask for advise when the time comes to lower it (i'm waiting for the camper equipment and glass to be fitted before I tackle that) Regards your wheel alingment issue. If you've rotated tyres / checked pressures etc than I would check the rear axle. Tracking is not a wheel alingment best to get a 4 wheel alingment done As a basic check on the rear axle measure the wheelbase n/s to o/s (measure from front of the front wheel to front of the rear wheel - easier than trying to find the centre point) you will get a differance due to manufacturers tolerance but it might show that the rear axle is steering the front. You can get some (very minimal movement) Just somat to look at When I have some movement on my camper L300 i'll post a topic up and seek advise on mine then

Looking good! I've a bit of a thing for the L300/H100 vans, but wanted it's older 4WD uncle. It's good to see someone doing a H100. You didn't by any chance buy those mirrors from me did you? I sold a full set of chrome mirrors from my Delica for £60 recently. Ironically I took mine off to fit H100 mirrors. I cant quite beleive what ive just read. Reg you are indeed the chap i bought them off and what are the chances of you being on here and you wanting to fit a set of h100 mirrors instead! If i had of known i would of done you some sort of swap! The first set i put on got pinched like i said but didnt tell you it was a h100 as you might of thought i was barmy. Nice to see you on here and i cant get over the chances of us meeting like that.

If you need any help lowering it let us know and we can meet up and do it for you. It can be lowered in a few hrs easily and ive got contacts to sort the blocks and u bolts for the axle. Thanks for the reply!

Hi
Is the black van in one of the pictures just an earlier version of this one?
Cheers Adrian

Not really but yes it is in a round about way if that makes sense! the black van is a nissan urvan/homy caravan. It has seats in the rear that fold down to make a massive bed. If you look at the different J vans they are mainly based on the same base model then just tweaked for the different manufactures. This is my opinion but maybe one of the more knowledgeable members on here can explain it better for me!

how much work would it be to swap over the older mitsu front end? i feel like these vans should have the square noses/lights, rather than the rounded ones you've currently got on

On the l300 you cannot swap the early nice square lights onto the later facelift model without swapping the front panel or major surgery, I'd guess the retro fit to a H100 would involve even more hassle.

I spoke to a delica breaker and he said it was a major pain in the ring to swap stuff over.

Perhaps the front import number plate would look a bit better side offset mounted on a bracket? On my MX5, I knocked up a bracket that bolted into one of the tow hooks.

I got them off a h100 being broken on eBay. There's no make on them but it's a proper heavy duty job.
