None around here. Neighbours opposite are car nuts though so are always repairing their cars - Saab convertible, Civic Type S & Astra coupe. All were light Cat C or d write offs they repaired and borrow specialist tools etc off me so we've developed a friendship. Great to have like minded neighbours.

Down my road is a restored Sprite but in the village there is a modified Mustang, anther TR7, a couple of Mk2 Range rovers, a mk2 Ren 5, and one of my neighbours has a Nova oval racer. Under cover works in progress are a Fiat 500 and a mk1 escort but I have never seen either without the covers over them. Down my parents road when I grew up was a concourse condition RS500 that the owner used to roll out of his garage to polish the rocker cover on (seriously!) I only ever saw it on the road once and I lived there for 21 years. This is the Mustang

Not much in my immidiate vicinity. I have the most lol - Maestro Van, Ford Maverick, Merc 300CE and Triumph Vitesse One old chap round the corner has a TR7 drophead and a Lotus 7 type kitcar. Couple doors up from him has a nice little purple Mini sitting on wide Alleycats. That's about it apart from a shabby looking Landrover Series 3 I think that hasn't turned a wheel for 2 years

There are quite a few down my street...
Mercedes CE (Early 80's and W123 flavour, never used)
Alfa Romeo GTV (Early 70's and being restored for as long as I can remember!)
1980 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II
A selection (About 4 at last count) of late XJS's owned by the same family, they are never used...!!!
1982 VW Scirocco GTX
Late 70's Aston Martin DB V8 in gold that I have only seen out of its garage a handful of times and on the road once in about 10 years...
90's Mini Cooper...
That's it really! It's always nice to see some old motors dotted about down your very own street...

One house has a pair of bug vans, which seem to be in almost daily use - fair play to them!
Not spotted much else (yet! We've only been here two months, so there may be more tucked away in garages waiting for summer).

I am sure some of you are cheating . Down my street bar the Stag there is a Piper P1 but that is mainly a garage queen Closest other car to a retro down to the road is a '98 Rover 214 I think the vast majority of cars are over a 53 plate and newer. A street away there is a Moggy Minor and Rover 820 Vitesse.

Doing quite well here for a modern suburban estate. Other than my Marina and XJ40, the chap directly opposite has a TR6, a couple of doors around has a daily driver Moggy Minor, a bit further round a chap has a Triumph Vitesse and his daughter a rather minty chrome bumper Midget. At the other end is another Minor (in the same colour as the other one). Rumour has it there's a bullnose Morris too but I've not seen it.
There's also a couple of yoof spec early 90's mildly warm hatches that I'm not interested enough in to have identified.

Well, we only have six houses in my cul-de-sac, but there are a few things here and there.
My two cars (1984 WB Holden ute and 1972 VW S-Bug) Phil across the road has a very special HT Holden Belmont ute (late 1960s), which has fully muralled paintwork composed of outback scenes with little ants crawling all over it, hand-painted by an artist from Broken Hill Ron has an E34 BMW 530i in very good nick, which he absolutely loves and keeps cocooned in the garage and is never driven. I don't really understand this.
In terms of cool things which are not strictly 'retro', there is a near-new Harley Fatboy, plus a VZ HSV Maloo R8 ute (297kW V8) and a VS Commodore ute which I think might be a V8? So that's four utes out of six houses, which is pretty good.

Theres a few knocking about round here in Manchester, Chorlton end. I've seen a couple of chevettes and about 4 sierras all owned by old people that just drive to morrisons. These are pretty much in the next street though. composimmonite, Nice to see someone else from stoke is on here... I'm just down the road in Bucknall. No retros there either, a few old cars in stoke soon to be retro i think though.

Think there is my truck & an 80's XJ6 on my road (1 mile long to) thats about it - everyone else hasup 10 year old generic boxes. A guy just around the corner has some very nicely restored classics but not sure what they are, just see them driving past. In the area though there is a Landy Defender in Metalic Orange & there is a fellow Retro Rider around the corner who has several retro's.

Nothing really around here. I remember a few years back there was a Mk2 Cortina lurking in one of the garages but I haven't seen that for a long time.
I think the oldest motor (bar my B reg 190) is one of my neighbours (recently acquired) camper vans - a 1989 F reg Fiat Ducato.

one bloke has a couple of Morris Minors (one on the road, the other he uses to rest against whilst sitting in the garage smoking his pipe... probably the only place he gets peace and quiet?) another has a couple of Singer Chamois (he had six at one point rustin in the garden) another with a Comma Camper another is refurbishing his late eighties XR3i convertible another has a Lotus Excell (and a Ford Corsair under a tarp, that hasnt moved in 10 years looking at the shrubs growing on it) an old boy locally (but not in my street) has a garage full of pre-war and some later upto 1980 motorcycles... he must have 20 or 30, never sold one, just puts them into his sheds and garages, he also has two late 50's Landies, a Humber of some description, and 1940's Rover of some description tucked up in local barn, and he rebuilt a Spitfire for his wife... he is a real character, i met him through work and often pop around now for a cup of tea... he is a real mender, and throws nothing away! He has many long forgotten skills...
