I have nothing against Westwood. He can do what he likes and I can laugh at/with him. He brightens my day occasionally. There is the thing about trying to be something you're not which is what grates with most people. I find it incredible he's a hip-hop hero to anyone. Mind you, some of the people been on my list of heros/idols would make you giggle behind my back...
Fair play to him, he's doing his thing, but please don't insist I take him seriously.

I am glad I have grown to like the 'dawg' over the last year after watching PMRUK. (I don't usually follow hip hop etc) He's nowt like i preconceived, and actually makes me laugh when i see him on the TV, with him not really at him - well a bit of both. he's welcome on my screen/radio anytime, much better than other overpaid big school-kids on radio 1.
Big up westwood and his Rides
Big down dopey graphic designer - worth a laugh!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

He may be a tw@t, but I have a kind of grudging restecp for Westwood. He seems to be pretty knowledgeable about his subject matter. Its easy to take the p1ss out of him cos he talks like a massive throbbing giant red bell end but I reckon he is pretty credible music-wise. I'd be inclined to agree, he knows his onions and has a lot of respect in the US from artists over there too. OK so he talks like... well what does he talk like? And he hails from the ghetto of Peterborough (and yes, his dad is a well respected member of the Anglican Church). He has good taste in cars I rekon.. and some music . He annoys me, BUT I wouldn't wish him harm, saying he should be shot (again) is a bit harsh in my opinion, afterall, he's only an irritation, it's not like he's dealing crack to school kids. Oh and PMSL at the image... that picture does really make him look like the tit that he is. it would be bad enough without the cock up with the smoke! even if the smoke was meant to be from the front tyres it still looks curse word! "Ride with the big dawg" is that the album title? omg what a loser! tbh i think he would be less pitifull if he WAS dealing crack to school kids.

Just stop this right now, please. Tim Westwood is a thoroughly nice bloke, and I've never had any other reason to think so. If you must make comments of a defamatory nature, then please be aware of the following. 'There are two versions of defamation, libel and slander. Libel is when the defamation is written down (including email, bulletin boards and websites), and slander is when the incident relates to words spoken. In the UK, if someone thinks that what you wrote about them is either defamatory or damaging, the onus will be entirely on you to prove that your comments are true in court. In other words, if you make the claim, you've got to prove it.' Ignorance really is bliss sometimes, eh?

Yeah I think this has gone waaaaay off topic, and isn't doing the forum any good. Maybe a lock would be in order and we can all go back to talking about retro cars?

I considered this yesterday BenzBoy - but as I was one of the people who partook in the defimation of character I though I'd give everyone else the chance to retract...
Thread duly locked.

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.
