Hi guys
We need cars to feature in Practical Performance Car magazine. If you have something you think we may be interested in please email me at will@ppcmag.co.uk
Cars don't have to be immaculate - far from it. Anything from the 60s to the 90s is okay.
Any offers gladly accepted.
Cheers
Will Holman

And if I could work out how you post pictures I'd show you what I mean about the cars not having to be immaculate!

do they have to be practical cause i can only take my corty out when its dry (400bhp and no grip) that's not really practical is it ;D
oh forgot to mention the car only has 2 seats and no usable boot space as thats where the fuel tank battery and nitrous bottle live ;D

I don't think my Herald fits the 'Practical' category either - a 302 combined with a fuel tank that only holds a tenner's worth of fuel ensures that! ;D

Practical's a state of mind. Actually, the practical effectively means "not a £150k off-the-shelf supercar," rather than "ideal for weekly trips to Sainsbury's" They both look great. Can you email me at will@ppcmag.co.uk Cheers
Any more out there? Don't be shy!

Without causing any other board users offence, would my '85 Escort Cabrio qualify?
It's not complete yet but is also far from standard and not in the usual boy racer stick a bodykit on it, cheap lowering springs and a turbo motor or back box.
It is undergoing a 2.0ltr Zetec transplant with LSD box that should look factory fitted when done. It also has all the right suspension bits, fully equiped electrics, uprated brakes, loads of bits from later cars and a fairly sizable website to back it all up. (see my sig)
If so, I'll keep you informed, if not, there's always the Cortina and the VW Camper. ;D
Cheers, Smiler.

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

It's cheated a bit, cos those pics were taken when it had its lotus lump, but i wasnt willing to pay the HUGE amount the guy wanted for it, so its now got a 1600 x flow - still shifts pretty nicely tho, and goes sideways eaaaaassyyy ;D Oh and its not a proper 2 door either, its been converted from a 4 door, but it still looks cool Roll on sun, i NEED to go for a spin in it

Yeah I thought the front doors lokked a bit on the short side but didn't want to say anything. Still, not to be sniffed at!
