Evening chaps, just wondered if you could recommend me a good motor/vehicle museum or show. I have the vauxhall heritage centre on my list and the retro show but what else can I do? Any info would be awesome and a link to them would be sweet too. Thank you here's a nice pic for your troubles

RAF Waddington on the 30th of June looks like it should be a good one (I'm hoping, it's the first show of the season for me) with a classic car show, aeronautical stuff and military stuff on display. I expect there'll be some sort of aerial shenanigans put on by the RAF themselves too.
Entry fee could be considered steep at £21 but it does look like you get a lot for your money. If you're displaying a car and you drive it in you get free entry, unlike your passengers who all have to pay.

Seeing as you're in Chesterfield, I'd recommend the Kelham Island museum in Sheffield. Nothing to do with cars, but has a couple of interesting static steam engines, one massive steam engine used for rolling steel and a bunch of other steel related things from yesteryear. They run this one up a few times a day, supposedly the most powerful steam engine still running. Actually, I just remembered - there are a few cars at the end. Pre war stuff. Check opening times though, I don't think they're open on Saturdays!

A few I've pencilled into the calendar for 2012 include the aforementioned Festival of Speed and Revival as well as the various Goodwood Breakfast Club meets, Motorsport at the Palace, Bromley Pageant, Brooklands Double Twelve, Chelsea Auto Legends, Windsor Concours, CarFest, etc etc. And a variety of events at the Ace Cafe, Krispy Kreme meets, Chelsea Cruise... too much to list, really.
