Don't seen any reason why not? As long as the pattern is correct. Not sure if there's any requirement reference white light only from the front of the vehicle, just as there's no white light allowed from the rear when moving forward.
I had yellow lamps on one of my 2CVs and never had any grief, but that was fifteen years agoooo.

Selective yellow headlamps are still legal, I think. None of the MOT guides show it as a failure (they refer to lights emitting anything other than white/yellow light) but its contrary to the UNECE regulations that state only fog lamps can be selective yellow. Personally, whatever the rules, I find selective yellow far less dazzling than current white lamps. After all that was the purpose of selective yellow in the first place.

I looked into this some time ago, yellow lamps or bulbs are fine. Other colours like red, green etc. are not for obvious reasons. This would include those blue HID effect bulbs technically but I think they'd be borderline depending on what car it is, mood of whoever is checking, etc.

Timely thread. Got a couple of yellow bulbs found in the 240K which I've just sold, I guess from a trip to France back in the day. Thinking of sticking them in the maroon 240K, for no good reason at all.

Thinking of sticking them in the maroon 240K, for no good reason at all. Apart from the fact they look fan-tabby-dozie. ;D

Clearly yellow lights where best used at Le man, where they distinguish between the GT classes and the Prototypes. There appears to be yellow bulbs available from hella, as well as films that stick onto your headlights to make them yellow, and it looks pretty effective - just got to find some in the UK or at a sensible price now. these guys look promising - will drop them a bell later and let you know how I get on. www.glasstechnics.co.uk/window%20tinting%20film.htmlseems to be readily available in the states. www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-103755.cfm

I used that yellow tinting pen on my bike headlight in the past as it helps make you a little more noticeable in dim conditions when everyone has their lights on. I need more so if anyone finds any please let me know!!!

I feel dirty using Demon tweeks 'modification' section but that stuff might work. Says it's available in yella' but there is no option for it in the drop down menu, so I'll call em when i get a sec.
