Then it's quite possible it's hidden away in someone's private collection and will never be seen again, which is a very sad thing indeed. If ever I were rich enough to buy something as interesting as Titanic, I'd make sure it got seen by the public at least once a year.

Smart cars in the bottom pic - assume grey imports as they weren't in the states until recently - would be post 2000 though?

I assume the smart cars are from when Terry drove Titanic around Europe.

I remember the feature - shame there isn't a close up of the continental kit mural, iirc it was the titanic (car) sinking, and all the lifeboats were austin metropolitans! I often think (whenever I see another huge crusty full chassied yank barge) that you could build summat like this from scratch if you had the tin bashing skills - you'd only really need the detail bits like the grille, bumpers, screen etc - the rest would just have to be an approximation - kfw

Rather like the owner of this Citroen BX did. I always wonder where one stands with insurance on this sort of thing when they ask 'has it been modified' and you say 'well...'

At one of the early Goodwood Revivals the Titanic was on a revolving podium at the Grand Ball on the Saturday night. After dinner the owner jumped in, fired it up and drove it out. I was having a chat to Tiff Needell about it at the time, he was concerned about the handling, LOL.
