ok this may seem really sad but the mazdas just impressed me in the most awesome way. went outside to see if i can figure out what all the light switches do. had to wait till it was dark you see. got out and shut the door. looked down at the lock to put the key in. theres a freakin light shining out of the lock so i can aim the key! now thats thinking of everything! i don't even see this on modern cars!
seriously, for a 1988 car that isnt really built for creature comforts, this has it all! electric windows, electric mirrors, power steering, cruise control, a abnormally large boot (with straps to stop things bouncing around id like to add!). those kerrazy japanese sure know how to build an awesome car!
edit: all for the same price i payed for the golf! I'm more like a dog with 11 cocks!

It looks great, I can understand why you're so pleased with it. The shape of that generation RX7 is spot-on IMO.
Mazda build quality at that time does seem to be very high, I certainly found this on the G-plate 323F I had. You notice all sorts of subtle touches, or more to the point you don't notice them because things work just right. Pop-up headlamp mechanism on that was awesome, they acted really fast.

Excellent purchase You're gonna have a job explaining this one at work ;D oh they know all about it. i assume oyur refering to the mates that don't like retros? one was unusually rational about it saying that it will cost a fair bit to run. he actually sent me a text when he found out i had won it saying well done for getting it cheap! the other friend loves this generation of rx7s and mimicked the quote i used to defend retros "if you buy one of those I'LL have sex with you in it!" he was of course kidding but i could tell he really likes rx7s. but i cant roll up in it tomorrow since i wont be able to insure it untill tomorrow night. stupid adrian flux being shut at weekends!
