i'm running 13" by 6" wheels on my mk3 with minimal arch gap so there's no problem with going lower ... ![](http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg204/ninrow/woody2.jpg) If the brake servo wasn't touching the steering arm linkages already I'd lose the gap altogether

If the brake servo wasn't touching the steering arm linkages already I'd lose the gap altogether you can ditch the servo if you use a mk2 master cylinder with new mounting plate and a new pushrod for the master cylinder. I've been running without a servo for years and its a reversible mod

stance is good, 50-50 on arches and not a fan of the stickerbombedness

It's doing it for me! If I didn't have 2 VW's already I'd ditch the 205 and get one of these! Am I the only one who noticed the exhaust though? That's the only bit I'm not sure about ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) and I quite like the door cards, which is odd for me ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

^^ regarding the servo, il let you know how i get on but i am intending on using a 22mm Golf GTI MC on my mk2 bready as it should be able to provide more than enough fluid to make up for the lack of servo assistance.
BTW GOTWOOD- I agree with what you are saying that 13s can be MADE to work but as you have demonstrated you chassis has had modifications to allow you to get it right, the "scene" polo has clearly not had the same amount of work done and as a result is in my opinion not in the same ballpark as your own creation.

The thing is, this Polo could've, potentially, been built by a group of friends over the course of a weekend, purely for fun. Its not all about the perfect stance, or chasing 'scene' points, sometimes it really is just about chucking whatever cheap parts you have laying around onto a car and having a laugh doing it.
So the stance isn't perfect, and the stickers are a bit passe (on the interwebZ), but I bet he has a grin on his face rocking around in it.

No likey,no lighty and there's no light being switched on here for me,totally misses the mark and just looks a proper half arsed attempt. On the plus side I can't see it costing much dough and if he likes it good luck to him.
The other red polo looks the dogs and I do find it funny that he so politely put his money where his mouth was. Great stuff.

I chugged over the border to eng-land last night, on a mini tat mission was blezzing down the M56 (in the sunny) running late, and lo and behold, what do I spot in my mirror - a slammed lupo - he went past, gave a big thumbs up (and gunned it ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) and behind him was another slammed lupo - also thumbs up ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) now, to me they were the stereotypical modded vw's, shiny paint, low, stickers strategically placed, wide, low offset rims (and a fair bit of camber on the back of the 2nd one) - the guy even had the 'emo' baseball hat on, and no doubt his trousers were around his knees ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) BUT - they looked cool as chuff on the road, and they were out there having fun on a thursday night - they headed off towards cheshire oaks, and if I hadn't been in such a mad rush, I would have tailed them, and stopped for a natter cool cars are coolest when you see em in real life ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) - kfw

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman
''unfortanatly I'm quite old and scruffy and in need of some loving. my drive shaft needs a new boot....''

Also they see you driving (I'm assuming your tat wagon?) and they see a kindred spirit. Wonderful.

Got a lot of time for this polo which is strange cause I'm not a big fan of a lot of the mods done to it, but some how it pulls it off well. Gotta agree with the comments on the front arch gap tho Can I join in the mk2f on 13's self whoring? ;D ![](http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f124/shabber/071120101125.jpg)
