We managed this last weekend with £30 of graffiti paint. It is very forgiving and easy to use but more like colouring in rather than spraying   Side strips will go back on, wheels will go gloss black and a GT spolier plus jaegermeister race rep sticks. Its not my e36 by the way - i just painted it and yes that is a hole in the wing but the new one is on its way apparently |

... Should have stayed like this Maybe. But the new paint and that interior weren´t too bad either. I surely mentioned this before, but that b3 van was the reason for me to click a link to RR - and it became my most favourite forum! Thanks to you. New paint and interior were pretty awesome if I say so myself but I like it when it was more useable and I didn't have to worry about it. Had to sell it I was going through a bad time and never had the time to enjoy it let alone finish it. Least with the new projects I can use them and take my daughter out and not worry if she kicks the dash and drops curse word all over the place like 5 year olds tend to do. Saying that the Bug interior is a little special. Thanks for your comment, means a lot |

Which colour is the most forgiving for slightly wonky bodywork? I'm aiming for the 'well-worn racer' look.

 God I miss driving this ridiculous little car. Montana New Black cans, Monster Purple, with some Halfords Satin black on the roof and bonnet. Been like that 3 or 4 years now. |

I've been thinking about doing a satin graffiti paint job to my daily for a bit now. Its dented, rusty and I couldn't justify spending huge money on it, but where I work has a paint area and I keep wondering about spending a weekend here giving the old girl a new colour and this thread isn't helping!

Roller it again in another colour, and then next time it starts to flake off jet wash some of THAT layer off.
Rinse and repeat ad infinitum.
Profit.
