If anyone knows of a fancy way to getting back photos that have been deleted from the recycle bin let me know, but I fear they're gone for ever. Do you still have the memory card they were on? If so there are various rescue applications (Scandisk for one, should have a copy somewhere) around that can probably retrieve them. Mark Yep, there are a few good ones on the net. I found a free one (cant remember the name) and got back not only my photos from Vienna, but all the photos my friend took on that card when he owned the camera... pretty creepy

Good times, yeah, I've still got the card, there's nothing wrong with it, I just didn't check that they'd all transferred before deleting them off it, then found only half had transferred for some reason. I'll have to have a hunt and find a program to recover them.

I just made a massive balls up when taking all my pictures off my camera, and as a result managed to delete all my photos from the beach. I'm really annoyed about it because I know there was a few good ones on there that I was really pleased with. If anyone knows of a fancy way to getting back photos that have been deleted from the recycle bin let me know, but I fear they're gone for ever. One free download is "Recuva" I found it very useful when I inadvertantly deleted my whole music library.

It looks like an awesome day was had by all. As I said on Faceache the other day, I'm absolutely and utterly gutted that I couldn't make it down, even more so if it transpires that its the last one.
Ive seen some great pics from the day about too, top work guys.

Well I got the photos back ;D Thanks for the help everyone. I managed to leave the white balance on 'tungsten' so they're all a bit blue, and the processing's pretty basic as I've got no real software on this laptop, but here they are: Bruce Representing Area 52: Some Land Rover action: Bruce was rather naughty at times. This behavior makes cool photos, but is not approved of : Kev gets some speed up: The Fugitive looking awesome, many photos were taken of this over the day: Dave was also naughty in his Chevette, tut tut: I'm not sure there's any more polarised approach's to modifying similar vehicles: Thanks for people help with recovering the photos. Edit, here's a couple other people had a go at editing since I put them on Facebook: The Chevette, re-edited by Dave: And Kev skiing re-done by Bruce: Thanks guys, both much improved by your superior skills!

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.
