Ok next week I am getting my engine bay redy for paint. Now this is the first time I have had an engine bay sprayed and I always wantedto have a tidy engine bay the same colour as the car etc. no my problem is... WHAT COLOUR DO I SPRAY IT?? I have come to the idea of 2 colours White and silver. At the moment I am up for white, but also up for a silver too, but not a normal silver, abit more golden/silver and if I did white, i don't want it too 'icy' white but seen a New import Integra Type R the other day and that looked nice. So the thing is what colour and does anyone have a paint code for Honda Integra Type R in White?? As the car has chrome bumpers I thought silver may take the edge of some of the detailing etc like the chrome windo strips, handles, bumpers etc, and white would keep it suttle and very J as alot of the cars I like are normally white. any views please and the car I am spraying ins a 1980 Toyota Corolla KE70. mine also has the twin headlights like on the photos to give you an idea on mine Here is the car I am spraying in white it will not keep any rubbing strips down the door etc and a few examples of silver

White w/ Silver two-tone, alternatively, Silver w/ white.
Do the majority one colour and that square section that runs through the middle in the other. 80's two-tone styling FTW!

Out of the first two the off white would defnitely be my choice. To my eyes that icy bluey silver does detract form the details and looks like a very boring modern silver. But then that different shade in your second post is really quite cool. I suppose a very pale met. grey with a non bluey tint contrasts well with the trim as chrome tends to have blue-ish shades. If you do decide on white then surely what you want would traditionally be know here as "Old English White" which can vary into a pale cream. I know this sounds silly but trying going to your local DIY/Hardware store an pick up a load of their paint colour chips.

Yep, white! Found 08703-NHOAA NH-0 or just plain NH-0 as the paint code for Championship White.
