Those little fiats are so cool, thanks for the info I'd happily take the townace if the strength of the pound was better its got that old skool front on it. I'm on the case of an '89 townace - just hoping the guy will sell it, i have plans ........

Ive just got a new family wagon and Ive many many plans for it. 12 seater has to qualify doesn't it? Best MPV ever? I think so.

I was pootling to billing aquadrome a few weeks ago in the prairie, loded to the ginnels with old bikes and tat, when what should come scooting along the M1? the spit of this, except it was stock as a rock, still with the partially faded / removed signwriting for the old folks home along the side I got (and gave!) a massive thumbs up from the 2 guys driving it, but alas I could not convice them to pull into the services and exchange it for cold hard cash the best part, apart from it being the stud pattern of absolute winners, really tidy, and old enough to go straight on my insurance? it had a CRANE fitted in the back, presumably for lifting giffers in and out - gr8 4 loading tat!! if anyone by any small miracle knows it, drop me a PM eh?

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman

To be honest, I think it's mainly the wheel choice that lets those Ford Galaxys down.
Those Fiat Coupe Turbo wheels really do look the part on the Multipla though, a lot more than I ever thought they could.

Gosh that's not a very nice thing to say. try reading this: retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=45829Oof! That looks tough! Did you go with the -60mm kit you had or something else? /ponders spring chop on familywagon... Yeah, turned out the kit I had didn't fit. I also had a full spring set for a Brava and the rear dampers and the plan was to use the other dampers on the front. In the end I've put the springs on the standard shocks - the springs needed a coil out of them in order to fit too so it's really bouncy and frankly a bit gash. Needs new front dampers and bumpstops. Anyway, think long and hard about it before you ruin the family wagon as my missus is frickin FUMING! I told her I'd snapped a standard spring and this was a free bodge - in other words LIED to escape the wrath. I've got a great image in my head right now of a KFW Toyota Hiace Tat Hauler complete with Tat Crane and faded old folks home signwriting. Looks amazing.

to be fair chap, penski and pogs posts go against your own Modus Operandi more than mine does .... or is that how you great all newbs 1) Everything has potentialThis does not mean everything is good to start with, just that with the right eye and a bit of thought every car can have the potential to be interesting. 2) If you haven't got something constructive to say, say nothingSure this is stifling your freedom of expression, however I'm not interested in cars you don't like, I'm interested in cars you do. Conducting oneself in a positive manner will result in positivity.9) Be excellent to one another Please, be respectful to one another, older people don't jump down the necks of new people if they make a mistake, new people listen to those that are wise, they can save you money, mistakes and looking like a fool. 15) HAVE FUN! Despite rules, moans, whines, grumbles, stresses and strains, really we're all here to have fun with older cars, never ever forget this is supposed to be fun. Can't we all just get along with our differences in place?

Can't we all just get along... That's the idea behind the MO to be fair chap, penski and pogs posts go against your own Modus Operandi more than mine does .... or is that how you great all newbs Well, I'm not an admin or anything, I was just giving some friendly advice. I know that Penski and pOG have read it, even if they don't necessarily go by it! It sure didn't seem to me as if you had. I would also add that in my opinion your post was more inflammatory as a personal insult rather than an opinion on something. Welcome to the forum all the same. Hope it works out for you. Let's get back to MPVs shall we?
