in the local paper there has been an ad that has been making me consider something I long ago said ' I'd never have another one of those if you paid me!'
it's a Metro 1.1 1994 with 20k on te clock and only one owner. Now I thought at that age it would be a Rover 100. Am i right?
And the most important question of all................whats it worth? ;D
Obviously not thousands but I'm wondering if I can make a quick buck on it as I'm skint.
How completely honest am I?

Nope, Metro until the beginning of '95 How much is it advertised for at the moment? Going by the only thing I really have to base an answer on, this one was bought for £310 with 2 owners and 45k. Going on the logic that the one you're talking about has half the owners and half the mileage it might be worth twice that at the most?

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Brilliant, cheers chaps for the advice.
That's about what it's up for so I think I'll leave it as I have enough motors for the minute.

I recently sold a 96 "Rover 100" version with 22k on the clock for £700.
Good "Rover Metro's are now getting decent money, so if the arch's and sills are good, and she runs well, start at £500 (if it's up for more) and see where it gets you.

it sounds like a car you could run for a couple of years and get your money back when you sell it , free motoring is always good !! :-)
