tell her its someone elses, and your getting paid to store it for two weeks, then after two weeks say ' he hasnt paid me for the storage so i am claiming the car' and hey presto a car she's got used to (because she thought it was going after two weeks) and now she thinks youve got a free car works for me Genius! ;D Can't wait to see some pictures TBH I was fearing the worst when I read the thread title - but then strife from the missus can be the 'worst'

Such plans are all well and good.... but guarantee you come unstuck when that tell-tale brown envelope with blue & green contents visible through the window lands on the doorstep.
V5 is always my undoing ;D

Dude, you sound so mis-understood. All great people are though, but take solace in the fact you have our respect and support... And I've got a pair of brand new SPAX mini rear shocks if you're interested.

jonny69 in da house: She doesn't know yet. Discuss.
Ohhhh how lovely it is to only have to answer to Enzo Ferrari (Mosta Hill house cat) and Vovven (The Mosta Hill Galgo Race Dog), Enzo don't much care about things with wheels but loves to hang around in the shop, specially sitting under a bike with cover and go MJAUUUUUUUU. Vovven loves everyting that has a soft seat to curl up on, he don't much like the Volvo T21 but also loves to hang around the shop....
DP says: Send her off with the AMEX card for some heavy duty shoping and you'r even.....

just come clean. tell her you love the car and thought she'd understand your car-needs! or get a new one! woman not car (!) always get your car passion before your better half passion, my fiancee has been converted to accepting and actually liking some of the sheds i pick up. with 10-14 cars atm (who knows) she has plenty of choice lol. even comes with me to get them! honesty is the best policy (except concerning price) (and distance) (and your crazy plans how to retrieve said car from said undisclosed distance) (and the planned mods!!!!!zz!11!!)

V5 is always my undoing ;D takes at least three weeks to arrive - situation will have resolved itself by then ;D Not always. I managed to hide a Land Rover from my missus for two months until (a) my mum dropped me in it and (b) the missus found the V5 in my sock drawer
