spend a few hours today buggering about with the chin spiler I got an age ago. had to widen it so got the fiber glass and filler out  came out pterrty good did not go to mental on it as I'm carbon wraping it. bumpers will do going for spray this week too if all goes to plan. as u see from the photos I'm a chippy by trade so forgive all the wood shavings   just a bit of 2mm NS3 ally with m6 machine screws contersunk and bolted up and the right width.  fiber class with a birch ply packer shpped so it all ran on.  rubbed back the fiber glass then fillerd and rubbed back and shaped the filler.  just sprayed up with some black paint to make everything blend so I could get an idea of what it will look like.  just held on with a few ficing bolts to see how it looks. think it it starting to look like a scoda lol photo has not come out well, it had started to rain and the light was not goos pluss it was just my rubish little cam I used.  new lower stance can jsut about get out my drive if I take it at an angle lol |

cracking job on that splitter is it just me, or that second to last picture has a tiny bit of motion blur to it, makes it look like a screen capture from gran turismo 4 or something |

i was going to ratt this and euro look it but it is in too nice condition! ha ur making it sound way better than just the cam not beeing able to take a good photo in the rubish light! ill go out today and try get some good ones |

been a while,fair bit has changed just not on the car Ha!! Got my first place and a big enough drive for loads of stuff but now have no money :/ sods law! Was thinking of selling the sunny and getting me another Volvo 240 and playing with it but cant bring my self to get rid. She is such a laugh to drive but after the lat RRG 13 think iv blown an oil seal somewhere as it leaves a trail of oil when warmed up. Been sat eve since i moved now got no mot,tax or any legal tires, so got me some new plans for her if i can manage to save some money!! new wheels wider and thinking some sort of gold BBs style things not shore what get with pcd's to think about and all that. bucket seats, more of a stance with pulled arches as i fancy my hand at some panel beating and try sort the poor wee engine out. Would like a bit more poke but don't think i have the time or money to be doing that unless you people can think of a cheep way? |
