Hi fellas.
I'm putting my jag up for sale as I've just bought an uber dad wagon in the form of an Audi S4 avant and desperately need to free up space and cash. I've put it on eBay for £999 and I'd like to stick to that.
I'll copy and paste the description as it'll take ages for me to write out again on my phone.
For sale is my 2000 jaguar s type 3.0
I bought this car last year with the intention of using it as the family car for when my son was born, however the boot isn't as big as I had originally expected it would be so I've now bought an Audi estate.
This is a very nice car that runs like clockwork and goes very well indeed for a large car. It's not at all bad on fuel, I have seen 33mg on a short run up the motorway and I'm sure could do a little better on a long run at 70.
The car had a misfire when I bought it which my mechanic traced to a faulty cool pack. This has been replaced with a brand new one and the gearbox oil has been drained and renewed so will be good for another 100k.
This is the top spec 3.0 S type with full leather, cruise control and multi function steering wheel, built in sat nav and optional 18" BBS alloy wheels. Some people are advertising these wheels on eBay for £200 each!!!!
THE FAULTS.
First of all this is a low mileage top spec jaguar for under a grand so as you'd expect there are some cosmetic issues.
The paint has cracks in it one the passenger front door and a dent on the passenger rear quarter. Both of these are pictured. Elsewhere on the car are other small scratches, stone chips and the like.
The central locking works off the fob but the passenger front door lock sometimes sticks, just open it from inside.
That's pretty much it to be fair.
Drives great and the auto box is silky smooth.
I'm not really looking for offers as the car owes me more than the asking price already. I've advertised it this cheaply to get it sold quickly as I don't have space for it.
It's taxed untill June and I think the mot is may but can confirm this later. I'm not interested in swaps or part exchanges as I already have an Audi estate now.
There you have it, champagne motoring for lemonade money.
Thanks for looking.
Thanks chaps
Ross
