My new house is distinctly 70's and some retro Hi-Fi would suit the front room to a T.
I ran past an idea with a mate of mine last night, I fancy a media pc linked to the telly for I player and music etc. I plan to get a knackered old amp/receiver and strip the innards out and build the PC in the unit and use a wireless keyboard mouse combo and have a usb on the back or discreetly in the front.
What do you think?

Why not? I'm slowly collecting parts to build a similar thing inside a Marshall stack TV/Media Centre + record and video collection in one of these -

lol, that just looks new! Which one? The cooper eventually got sold for a measly £52, as it was just rotting before my eyes. Sold the Mary quant for something like £300. Old Rover was sold for £320, Scimitar was broken, and now back to another Rover 220!

I planned something like this but useing an old top loader video player so the usb ports and any other plugs I fancied such as sata and power could pop up in the video slot

I will be doing similar in an old cigar box using a raspberry pi as soon as they are released running XBMC.
I have also added an ipod feed to an old ghetto blaster I had at home, the thread is in here somewhere!

An old Shuttle pc might be ideal for the small-form-factor motherboard etc.

An old Shuttle pc might be ideal for the small-form-factor motherboard etc. Dead XBOX 360, has plenty of space and an SATA optical drive already... Rysz.
