well ive booked a venue.. I'm sorry but for now it is local to me, untill we know who will be actually attending we cant find a suitable "centre location"
ive paid for a hall for 2 hours. 12noon untill 2. I'm happy to front the cost untill we have a permanent location, and will only ask for £3 per person (this will cheapen if more people come) to be fair 3 quid for 2 hours is a good price for a bit of indoor drifting..
features.
indoor
power sockets available
kitchen available (microwave/kettle/sink etc)
hose pipe outlayed track
we are building up some old tamiya tl-01's ready to run that can be used at backup/guest cars for the day.
plastic tyres and electric cars only!!! reason for plastic tyres is it wont scratch the floor (i have tested it at the location) and also so that everyone runs at same drift speed.
(i will normally always have spare wheels with drift plastic tyres on so can borrow on the day if needed.)
so... time and place. sorry for those of you that may need to travel, but maybe even just come once and see how it goes, or maybe come and then invite us to a local hall by you. id be happy to travel also.
its deffinatley worth meeting up for a drift on an actual course... loads beter than just sitting by yourself in an open area. hope to see you there!
Berrow village hall sunday 4th november 12noon untill 2pm (only 2 hours for now.. see how it goes.)
