Sapporo P.C.D is 4X114.3 which is the same as Nissan 200SX's, Bluebird, prarie and primera. Daewoo Matiz, Laganza. Honda Accord and Prelude upto 1992. All four stud Hyundais. Mitsubishi Carisma 1.8, Space wagon, Galant and colt/lancers up untill 1991. Suzuki Swift and Alto. Rover 600/800. subaru Justy. and Volvo T4 S40 and V40's The offset is 35-42 and all the cars listed above are within that spec. The only problems I had when looking for my rims was finding second hand wheels in good nick that suited the style I was after, finally I picked up a set of Fondmetal rims from a Nissan 200SX at my mates garage, powdercoated them black and put some new tyres on. oh and on the back I'm running inch spacers because compared to the front arches the back arches are vast even with 225/50ZR15 tyres on

It's amazing/frightening how much personal experience some of these guys have, I wouldn't be surprised if he's had wheels off of all of the above!

Ohh t'rffic, I'll fit some Alto Alloys then Nice one mate - thanks very much Where did you go to find that, or do you just know such things? Just a little research and a bit of trial and error, obviously some of the standard wheels will be wibblepoo but you may just stumble across a gem, I very nearly bought a set of 16" hyundai coupe 5 spoke racing wheels from a guy who seemed to list a set every week on ebay, and some of the latest 16" primera multi spoke wheels nearly found there way on as well but I was mostly very tempted by these reverloution style wheels at www.german-wheels.com/ they're called"modern-line 1tlg" and are 9"X16" but I couldn't get them in the correct PCD if you click on the wheel and then look at them on a vehicle you should see where I was coming from! try the ascona for best retro look and the lupo for best filling of a wheel arch!!!

I have various sets of 4x114.3mm rims which I was about to stick on ebay. First is a set of 6x14 Wolfrace slot mags which I had on one of my Datsuns. They are painted black at the moment so would need some hard work if you wanted them polished but if you want them you can have them for £30 for the set of four. You would have to find the nuts etc, although I have a mate who can get you some if neccesary. I also have a very nice set of 7x15 four spoke Revolution split rims that would fit. These look proper retro and would be on my 510 but they don't work with the 280ZX struts I use on the front Centers have been powdercoated silver and the rims are in good nick with no damage. They just need some new rim bolts as there are some missing. These rims are also very light. I'd want £120 for the set of four as they are rare as! I have a set of 15" Ronal Minilites off a Saab Turbo too but I think I may have a buyer for those already. If the guy doesn't get back to me by the weekend then they are still available. Not much good for a Sapporo I don't reckon though as they are only 5.5J Lastly I have a set of five 7x16 Compomotives. These are the old classic motorsport wheel. They have tyres on but I can't remember how good they are. £120 for the set. If any of these are any good to you just PM me. I'll probably stick them all on ebay beginning of next week if nobody wants them. If anyone else can put them to use I have a set of 5.5x13 Enkie Minilites (mags) and a set of 13" factory option alloys for a Datsun B310 or A10 (but will fit others) Both these are also 4x114.3mm -Eddie

I get confused with them - there are some slots that I really like and others that I don't! Does the 6x refer to the width? And what is the offset? At the moment, the edges of my wheels literally line up with teh arches - i couldn't have anything even 5 mm further out! Cheers

0 offset = mounting face dead centre of rim. + offset = mounting face further towards outside edge of the rim (ie. the majority of the rim width will go further INWARDS) - offset = mounting face further towards inside edge of the rim (ie. the majority of the rim will go further OUTWARDS) Most oldschool cars require a 0 or - offset in order to fill the arches properly. Read this to get a better idea of the whole dealio! www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.htmlso why does the Sapporo have 35-42? has it got a really wide rear axle then? With an offset like this and the fact that the wheels almost stick out over the edge of teh arches, I'm assuming i oculd never get deep dished wheels?

I'll have a look at the offset on them in the morning. Edited to add; I ought to mention that I can have them bead blasted bare for £20. It's a high pressure water/air blasting that uses tiny glass beads so it leaves a pretty decent finish.
