Went shopping in Chatham today, and saw this on the roof of the multi storey carpark. Only had the Mobile on me so quality not up there where it should be. 420SEL. Not a bad transformation to get this look.... From one of these tanks. Would you roll in it ??

Yep, although I think I'd put a black sun strip on tint the windows and moody it up with some more black touches here and there

Absolutely, although I think I'd change the wheels for something a bit wider to get them sitting a bit more flush. I'm not sure what wheels I'd go for, either something less spokey and more solid like AMG monoblocks, or something like a BBS RS.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

yeah, I'd roll that, probably with a little rake as it seems to be level but visually sits to the rear as it were

I would and I have. Twice. And despite the above car killing itself, I would happily have another. So cheap for what they are, and so very comfortable. I've had a 300SE and a 500SEL, both impressive machines (I never had the SEL on the road, though) and even in the case of the straight-six 300SE, not slow by any means. Oh, and £150 fully comp to insure. As for that specific one you've papped, I would on the strength of what it is, but the sun-strip and wheels would have to go in the bin. [pedant]It might have had an SEL badge on it, but it doesn't look like an SEL - the rear windows seem too short for that[/pedant] Chris

I'd have that, but as said by others the wheels and sunstrip would have to go...

Glad the overall approval is here.
I do not think any one car is everything to all.
However, I saw and liked the basic cr as someone has used one of the RR's golden rules and delivered.

I would roll. I could keep the sunstrip and maybe even add a shopping list down the front doors.
