Here we have my 1994 Saab 9000 CD saloon. The ultimate sleeper!
Originally a 2 litre low pressure turbo with 150hp, it is now a 2.3 Aero engine with an ebay GT30 turbo, 630cc injectors, full 3" exhaust, 255lph pump, 3 bar MAP sensor, FMIC, Sachs racing uprated clutch pressure plate, poly engine and gear box bushes, remapped ECU, new Brembo discs and Yellow stuff pads plus a whole lot of other stuff I've forgotten about!
Exterior is very clean for an 18 year old car, very small amount of bubbling from around the boot key hole but it hasn't worsend in all the time I've owned the car.
Interior is grey leather, with heated and electrically adjusted front seats, air con, electric windows, mirrors etc. Has masses of room in every single direction! One of my mates made me smile the other day when riding in the back "the fastest Limo in wales"
I put £1800 in to this car in November-December alone to raise the power up from the 279hp and 365ftlb it was making with the stage 3 tune I'd been running for the passed 18 months to what it is now.
What its running now is ATLEAST 360hp and a massive 380ftlb, I say atleast as it kept hitting fuel cut on the dyno no matter what ramp angles the dyno dude used (=amount of resistance the car is placed under) but this isn't representive of real road driving as it won't hit fuel cut unless you give it full beans from low down in say 4th gear. Nevertheless, it won't be hitting fuel cut when it gets sold, I'm on the case, ECU is being tweaked and then it should be 400hp without fuss!
Now has a 3 gauge pillar mounted pod instead of the lone boost gauge.
And this is how well it goes in comparison to my E34 540..
