Hi,
I'm not looking to share a garage but I would like to improve my mechanical skills (they don't really exist at the moment) by watching others work. If anyone here wants someone to make tea/pass spanners/generally 'assist' (for free of course) then please drop me a PM.

the one on Czar St looks pretty good in terms of space Vs cost. How many Sq Meters you reckon we need per car? Obviously I'm sure we all want to be able to get our rides out whenever.....

Just saying I'm still poping in this thread from time to time. I haven't been looking for garages/units but the idea is still there. The czar st one looks interesting but I can't really grasp how big something like this is and how many people could share it. Also how do things like rates and insurance work with them being business premesis and 'us' not being a business.

I'm off to see a place in seacroft - its suitable only for two / three cars at a push but it does have a mezzanine for stashing parts - I have a two post ramp to bring to the unit -
the total rent is £250 a month in total - so shouldnt / doesnt require business rates either

3 months bond and 3 months rent in advance.. which is 750 in advance and 750 bond.

found a place behind the car wash next to Tesco on seacoft roundabout
It's 1000 sq ft and has toilets a kitchen etc. Landlord wants 500 a month not including rates which would be on top. Although I'm planning on knocking him down a bit.
It's a fair wacky of space but it needs at least 4 of us and landlord wants to collect from one person.
Firstly I need to know if you are serious copy n add your name?
