1987 E reg Toyota Corolla GTi-16 AE92 in red.
MOT til May 2012 (sadly no tax)
135k miles, CD player.
Mint inside. Drives spot on. Everything works - electric windows, mirrors and sunroof.
Very tidy for the year - main cosmetics are one alloy could do with a refurb, a couple of scratches on the bumpers and a couple of minor bubbles of rust. Oh, and the mirrors have faded a bit.
No knocks or rattles, gearbox / clutch / brakes all good, as are the tyres.
Massive folder of history and appears to have been in one family for a very long time right up until it was traded in.
The only thing I can find that I'd be changing any time soon is the radiator as the core is going a bit flaky - car runs at the right temperature and oil pressure is good according to the dials, as is the charging rate etc.
I reckon it has to be one of the best original examples of these left - no mods, not even an air filter.
£795, located in Canterbury - will update with pictures asap.
No PX or swaps please.

Massive folder of history, including a bill for £250ish to get it through its MOT this year. The cambelt cover has a sticker on it confirming the cambelt was changed at 122k in 2009, so that has ages left too. Pictures, I will sort out shortly when I go back up to my unit where the car is now stored - took pictures earlier on and left the camera in the unit, doh!

Believe me, if I'd not found something I've been after for ages yesterday, I'd be hanging onto this. If you look on eBay, a much more tatty example with a months MOT recently sold for £775.

Just to add, the drivers seat bolster is as new and as clean as the rest of the interior.

Cheers - I'm toying with keeping it tbh as I managed to raise the money for my now main car and which I picked up today, by flogging something else. :-D
Went through the history of this last night and it has been in one family from new - the father had it up til 2006 and then it passed to his son and his wife up until they traded it in against something newer recently.
Full main dealer history up to 2007.

Not had it up on a ramp yet for a full inspection, but from laying under the sides / the front, it looks very clean.
I've sat there thinking about it this evening actually and it's just under 24 years old and in better shape overal than I was at that age, lol.

Urgh... it's now parked up in my unit - not much room to swing a cat around in there, and it is a ballache getting it in and out the door of that as it's a bit on the narrow side. Anyway, I will do my best - would prefer it if people just came and had a look at it to be honest, although I appreciate you're not really near enough to do that.

I like this a lot! My gran had a 1.3 from new in 91 and it was surprisingly quick for what it was and she only went through a set of tyres and a section of exhaust all the time she had it. Oh and copious welding! It was killed by rust 4 years ago though, so if this is rust free structurally then it's a great find.

I'd definitely have this if you were closer. Currently got a torn calf so can drive a few miles, but not 280

That's probably why this one is up for more than £400.
