Think they did a 324td didnt they? Lol @ e30zone..... Haha do they like anything on there? Looking forward to seeing how this goes They did indeed. I have a 2.4TD in my yard. Nom. Pity the M21/51 diesels aren't terribly economical though. I'd M52 an E30 if I wanted economy!

Very nice looking car, (Would say that though as it's identical to mine !!) Liking the plans, interested to see how the diesel conversion comes out, Must admit, I also like the current interior, (put a black leather comfort interior in mine as original was U/S & don't like / fit sports interiors,) Keep the updates coming then I'll get off my backside and do the few jobs I've got planned on mine, :-)

Cheers guys, We're removing the tan interior over the weekend to make way for the black. With regards to the engine conversion, M52 / m50 are so common and we wanted to be different, it's not all about economy, I have the IS for that at present. Piman, dropped you another pm, the tan interior is for sale

I was going to say, my dad never found his E36 TDS to be that great on fuel (If I am honest, the Mondeo V6 we own now without the LPG was not much worse!) But I can see the attraction, and it shall be interesting to see how it pans out.

Update: Ordered some engine mounts and carpet dye, they came today so work should hopefully start soon. We've resprayed the carpets black, more to do though. Last night John fitted the rear carpet and seatbelts & started fitting rear seats and rear boot carpet. Only got 5 weeks to complete her.. eeek! I would recommend this lady (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/kaz01462/m.html?item=310312548619&_trksid=p4340.l2562) on ebay though for the dye. Comes next day delivery and quite good prices. Looks really good inside, part of the boot carpet, rear seat carpet and this bit is done but couldn't get a decent pic apart from this one. Also the borbets are going sparkling graphite to match the engine

Last night I had a go at spraying the interior and was impressed with how it looked. We also removed the rear washer pipes and changed over the trim to black. John also tried the e36 front seat positioning. Tonight we are welding in the brackets for the e36 front seats and respraying some more bits. The whole rear wiper is being removed and also the wiper washers. I'm also going to remove the headlights and grill to change over and respray

Will do, more stuff has been done since, welded the brackets in as my front leathers are e36, more options with those, the boot etc is all done apart from the hinges. Engine is being removed this weekend I miss driving my old tourer so can't wait to get this one on the road..
