or just get it and park it in the "pending" space. That's what I'd do. I also find thinking "How cool would I look in that" helps in the decision making process.  ;D |

It'll be interesting to see what it sells for as a local fellow who's seen it tells me its no way as good as the '67 I bought...

15th May 2032, it's a beautiful spring morning. Alistair rubs a hand over his tousled grey hair, yawning as he shuffles toward his kitchen sink. As he gazes out of the window overlooking the garden, he spies movement. Through the 5-foot-high grass intertwined with thickets of brambles, in between the rotten remains of an Oldsmobile 98 and an unrecognisable shell that he'd long forgotten about, he saw the familiar, unwelcome sight of two men in hi-vis vests and the dull rumble of the Hi-Ab truck.
"Not again," he sighed.
He began pacing, awaiting the inevitable knock at the door and the barrage of questions he was going to have to answer yet again about the dozen or so cars populating his garden. Suddenly, anger began to build inside of him.
"Why should I stand for this?" He said under his breath, "they're MY cars... MINE! I WANT THEM!" he yelled.
With adrenaline coursing through his veins, he picked up the first thing that came to hand, which happened to be the middle section of a Cadillac Eldorado propshaft, and bolted out the door.
He swung the propshaft above his head with both hands, his dressing gown flapping open as he ran, screaming, towards the two trespassers, his face contorted into a wild, unhinged grimace.
Alarmed, the two men ran in separate directions. One ducked behind the rotten shell of a Gen 3 Camaro, the other climbing a tree which hand grown through the disintegrating hulk of a Buick.
"GET AWAY FROM HERE YOU VULTURES!" Alistair bellowed, slamming the propshaft down onto the rusting bonnet of a Plymouth Fury.
The thread holding Alistair's sanity for so many years had finally snapped. After the years of fending off scrap men, parts hunters, nosey neighbours and inquisitive enthusiasts, he had finally lost his mind...

Indeed, shame.
Anyway, back to the car at hand.
He says it was bought from a dry state in the US, but it's been sat there for 8 years.
By the sea. If that engine bay is anything to go buy, it's got to be a rot box?
The top half looks nice, but from the level of the rear wheel spats (or whatever they are...) down looks a bit suspect.
There does seem to be some other interesting stuff lurking in that cow shed (looks like one anyway) though...
