So I finally got it done.. Some of the threads need a little tidying up, but the polls are all there. retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rraw11Some changes : I split the car of the year in two due to the wide variety in the types of car. Also the poll as it was originally would have been about 25 cars, and it just seemed excessive. I chose the same cut off we use at the show, as it seems to work/feel right. The photo of the year didn't make sense when I got them all together, they were so disparate it was almost impossible to judge them against each other, so I felt it would have been a bit of an exercise in nepotism. For the Photographers thread I'd like a link to a good example thread, or gallery for each person, so if you have that available it would be ace if you can post that here. Compiling the polls I realised how much GREAT STUFF we have on this forum, so thank you so much for all the people that nominated, and please when you are voting make sure you check out EVERYTHING in the threads, you've got a good couple of weeks to vote, so take your time and have a look through the stuff you may not have seen before, or you may not have seen recently. To all the people nominated I'd like to say that nomination alone is a big deal in a community this size, so well done See you at Ace cafe, assuming we don't balls up the organisation of that

Thankyou for the nominations, as HW's said just being nominated is kind of a big deal and I'm seriously rather chuffed about that. Keep coming to the events I dream up and I'll keep dreaming 'em up, they are meaningless without the massive contribution you guys make in time and fuel to turn up. Thankyou. HW mentioned he'd like photo links from nominated members of the 'Retro-Rides Snapperazzi Division'. Here's mine: www.flickr.com/photos/damaged23/collections/72157628530023031/Thanks again, everyone. Happy Christmas and here's to an even better 2012. Brian ;D

Cast my votes sorry about lack of input for selection but people had already nominated most that I had an idea about, plus I still class myself as one of those newbies
Good luck to everyone

I'd also like to thank anyone who nominated Not ÂŁ2 Grand. Really means a lot, thanks!

The nominations did not make voting easy, some really, really tough choices to be made there especially since I felt like I was splitting hairs over why I voted the way I did.

Voted And... Uhmm... Wowsers. I've been here just a year. I think I have to go to RRG'12 and meet some of you guys Thanks! And whilst I'm here: thank you everyone!! Whenever I come here, I find something to drool, to smile, to enjoy. Thanks to all fellow RRers, and thanks to the team for creating & maintaining this place! It's become my favourite internet place, where I spend far too much time, instead of doing some welding ;D Thank you!!

As the others have said, I am very flattered and honoured to have been nominated, especially in such good company. I've cast my votes. Some were easy, others not, but having clicked through a number of the links, I have found some awesome stuff that I had completely missed before (build threads) and some stuff that I never knew existed (blog sites). For that alone, I love this place even more than I already did. Here's to 2012 guys - thank you to everyone for making it such an amazing place. The mods, the people and the cars.... ;D

Apologies to anyone who ended up being missed despite being nominated, it took me 5 evenings to get it all sorted, a couple of mistakes might have slipped in. No neferiousness behind it.

i did notice id been nominated a few times with the hotrod build for new thread of the year, even though i started it about 2 years ago!
i guess this kinda precluded me from this category, so i ended up in the 'build' category instead?
