Very nice. There was one of these in a old abandoned shed near me when I was a kid, well we thought it was abandoned till we went for a peak inside the open door and got chased off by a very angry shouty man in overalls Look forward to developments on this one

Really looking forward to some time off at Christmas now and hopefully we will have enough dry weather so I can try and get it to fire up.handily the entire front end has been unbolted so it can just be lifted off giving easy access

Love the instruments on these old cars. There is just style there that modern cars lack.
Will be watching this one.

Very small update It now starts first turn of the key and moves backward and forward but we've only driven it a few feet on the driveway so haven't tried all the gears yet. Luckily being 4x130 I've been able to borrow some beetle wheels with good tyres for when its ready for an mot as i don't want to spend any money untill I know how she drives. I've been in touch with the owners club and they've stamped my forms so I'm posting them off to DVLA after the bank holiday and if I get a logbook in the post that will give me a kick up the and get it on the road

Progress a last! It wasn't charging so I've fitted an alternator off of a corsa, didn't realise till I looked at this photo that I'd managed to use all corroded old parts so it fits in quite well lol Time to get the tank out One of the bolts holding the tank in was slightly rusty This was the contents of the fuel tank! Really glad I decided when I first got it to run it off of a fuel can and not put any petrol in the tank till I'd cleaned it out Found this 1956 paper behind a trim panel in the boot and was slightly disappointed because when I first saw it I thought it was an envelope stuffed full of money lol wishful thinking I suppose

Wondered what had happened to this one, hopefully we see some more progress on it this year? That paper is a neat find, even if it isn't a stack of one pound notes.

You will be seeing more progress as I'm aiming to get it on the road by Easter it doesn't need a massive amount of work but I still need a V5
