Just spent a few hours fitting up the clutch master cylinder and pedal assembly It seems to fit ok which is kind of nice as I had no plan B The MX5 pedal and accelerator box fits my Subaru booster. Will have to modify the Rod length and relocate the rod pivot hole but should be mint. Going to raise the pedal box up through the bulkhead to meet up with the Booster. The pedals will be a nice height but want to bring the go fast pedal over abit closer. I'll bring the clutch pedal foot plate up a bit to match the brake pedal height and this will give the clutch full travel to the stop as it hits the firewall at the moment. I'm going to build in a box (welded into car) with a removeable lid for access to unbolt the booster. This will also allow access to the accelerator cable connection. The wiper motor is being moved (replaced with MX5 wiper motor and mechanical links & pivots) to the inside of the car under the dash on the passenger side so will be out of the way.

Like your steering set up, l too feel much safer without rod going from the rack upto my face . Work is coming along well, there are so many things you have had to move around, header tank has got to go somewhere! Er yer the pedals look like they need lighning up

Header tank going next to a new narrower radiator as the Mazda unit is to wide and has been damage in the donor car accident. Wouldn't trust it even if it did fit. There's always something that impacts something else so hence I do a lot of mocking up.

Great project ... I am using the MX5 brake and clutch pedals in my MK Indy and they fitted pretty nicely once I chopped them up a litte. I did have to heat and bend both pedals, cut off the pedal pads and weld them on straight for the pedal pads to be in the right spot for my size 10s. Wish I could have used the gas pedal too, but there doesn't appear to be enough room. -Steve

Trying to keep things as unmolested us possible.

You'll miss the oldschool nats i'm afraid- they are in april. But at least you miss some of winter. Not taking bikes up to nats just to keep things simple. Instead we will do plenty of trail running.
Take a mtb to the UK or buy a cheap one there. Some great trails there too!!!

Will chat more about that closer to time. Wouldn't mind a nosy at your car if I can get over that way.

I'm Back onto the rear chassis I-Beam again as I have just had it all welded up. I'm fitting up to see were to tack the locating brackets that will insert into the chassis rails ready to be spot welded thru the rails. These will lock both chassis rails in really well as the I-Beam is super rigid and it will help stop twist in the chassis. I'm also going to cross brace the back and top of the upper suspension & Diff mounting structure- Winging that bit as I go but have a cunning plan ;D I'll weld on the stops for the eccentric camber adjusters later once I know its all in the right place.

I moved the rear body off the deck and under the carport as it was getting water under the cover. I had to set up the Mag wheel at ride height to see what it look liked- visualizing these things helps keep me motivated-You guys can relate to that -right . I like the low look but need it to be practical for everyday driving and be legal. Imagine the car painted Artic white with black Interior.

More excellent work, as we've come to expect!
Rear beam looks like a work of art, beautifully, beautifully made.
Know what you mean about sticking the wheels in the arches for a little mojo-boost, great fun!

The wheel under the arches looks proper cool , the I beam looks well and coming together nicely , l don't envy your fabrication to get those struts to fit, unless your mounting coilover's to the bottom wishbone?
