1993 Jaguar XJ 3.2s

What a cracking car.

Never been too sure of the XJ40 out of all the XJ's but yours shows how good they can look. Twin headlights look better than the single to me and with the colour and grille treatment on yours making it look even better.

I have seen this car in the metal and it looks excellent. The Azevs really work and the '40 always looks good in black. It is really quite low in real life too.

Car is as epic as ever.

cheers for the comments guys. the wheels are "Azev C" 18x 8.5J, fitted with 235/40 R18 Avons. Clifford Alarm, Medium Tints all round, suspension is standard jag sport -15mm from standard. i have fitted an all black leather interior from a daimler (electric adj and heated), with picnic tables in thew rear (original was grey leather). a few other minors mods, like cone filter, 10mm silicone Leads, Kenwood USB/ Bluetooth stereo.
i also have a 2 other xj40's. a 91 3.2 Manual with sportpack, and a 93 4.0 sovereign auto. all in Black on Black combination, as i think its looks so mean! not many around, and i try and snap them up. i have another black interior waiting in the wings for the next black car too! haha
may stick some pix up of those soon. the Sov is in bits currently, after rust surgery to all the usual places, plus heater boxes being fixed. i also have a 1990 3.9 V8 LPG range rover classic, with off road mods.

for the non believers in the controversial "square headlamps (fishtanks/ bricks), i have to admit i wasn't keen when i first was initiated in the world of jags, but they do grow on you, and i have them on my 93 sovereign. you have to see the earlier design sketches of the 40 to understand the routes of this design. think Lancia/ retro italian! the bricks make the 40 more regal/ /ministerial, where as the quads are more sporty. but you need to right wheels to match, right David!
Jabba273 or anyone else, am after a Getrag 290 manual gearbox and 93 pedal box, manual ecu, manual prop shaft to do a conversion, if anyone has that lot?
