NOW WITH 12 MONTHS MOT, 475 ONO
We picked up this Audi a couple of days ago, and we just haven't got the heart to kill it.
It's a 1994 L reg Audi 80 2.0 e 8v saloon in red.
One of the boys took pity on the car and polished it right up, hence the new pictures, and she looks cracking. Other than a few paint blemishes and a few spots where the lacquer is peeling, the car looks bloody great.
There is no visible rust on the car at all.

When it came to us it didn't run, so we put in new spark plugs, new distributor cap new rotor arm, but it still wasn't quite right.
We tracked it down to the fuel pump that was dying, so as a temporary measure so that the car can be driven and so that she can be heard, we fitted another fuel pump. Unfortunately, its not quite as powerful as the Bosch/Audi pump, so at full revs it can't quite deliver the full fuel pressure needed, but simply replacing the pump for a proper one will sort the problem out.
But at least she can be driven, and you don't need to drive slowly either, she'll get you home.
We had her sat in our yard for the best part of 40 minutes, fans cut in when they should, no engine problems at all.
We REALLY don't want to scrap this car, its far too good for that, its a worthwhile project for someone.
We have two keys and the logbook for her.
Shes done 167,000 miles, and is remarkably straight for the age and mileage.
Audi is located in Radstock which is near Bath and Bristol (BA3 Postcode), we're flexible on price so that she gets saved.
